AI room recognition

What it does

Instead of manually drawing a hotspot for every room, AI room recognition scans an uploaded floor plan image, finds the labelled rooms, and creates hotspots for you. You get a workable interactive floor plan in seconds, then tidy up the placement if needed.

Run AI room recognition

1. Open Settings → Floor plans and add or open a floor plan.
2. Click Auto-detect rooms.
3. Wait while AI processes the image — usually a few seconds.
4. Review the suggested hotspots. Drag, resize, or rename any that aren't right.
5. Click Save.

When it works best

AI room recognition works best with clear, labelled architectural plans — vector PDFs exported as SVG, or high-resolution PNG/JPG with readable room labels. Hand-drawn sketches or photos of plans printed on paper can work but may need more cleanup.
