Customising the member onboarding form

Choose what information members provide when they accept their invite.

What it does

The onboarding form runs when a new member signs in for the first time. By default Bookley asks for a name and email — you can add fields for anything else you need before they start booking (insurance details, T&Cs acceptance, emergency contact).

Edit the form

  1. Open Settings → Communication → User onboarding emails.
  2. Click the form builder.
  3. Add fields: text, dropdown, checkbox (with terms text), file upload, heading.
  4. Drag to reorder, or mark a field as required.
  5. Click Preview to see what members will fill out.
  6. Save.

Keep it short

Onboarding forms with more than 5–6 fields see real drop-off. Ask only what you need on day one — you can always collect more later via account settings or in-app prompts.
