Setting up pricing

Choose a pricing model, set your standard rate, and layer in rules.

Pick a pricing model

Open Settings → Pricing. The Workspace pricing system card sets the default model for the whole workspace — simple hourly, tiered hourly, time blocks, or no charge. Click Edit to change it.

Set your standard rate

Under Basic pricing, set the standard hourly rate, cancellation rules, short-notice surcharge, and grace periods. These are the defaults applied to every booking unless a more specific rule applies.

Layer in pricing rules

  1. Hourly tiers — different rates at different booking lengths.
  2. Peak and time pricing — different rates at peak hours, evenings, weekends.
  3. Room prices — override the standard rate for specific rooms.
  4. User prices — set custom rates for specific members.
  5. Cancellation rules — banded fees by how much notice was given.

The order rules apply

Bookley always starts from the most specific rule and falls back. A user-specific price beats a room-specific price; a room price beats peak-time pricing; peak-time beats your standard rate. This means you never have to delete a default to use an override — just add the override.
