Connecting Stripe to take payments

Connect your Stripe account

1. Open Settings → Billing settings.
2. Click Connect Stripe.
3. Sign in to Stripe (or create a free Stripe account if you don't have one).
4. Approve the connection — Bookley will be authorised to create payment links on your behalf.
5. Once connected, every invoice you send will include a secure Pay now link.

Stripe fees

Stripe charges a small percentage of each payment plus a fixed fee. You can choose to absorb the fee yourself, or pass it through to the member as a surcharge line on the invoice — toggle this from Billing settings.

Payouts

Stripe transfers funds to your bank account on a rolling schedule set inside your Stripe dashboard (usually weekly or daily). Open your Stripe dashboard directly to change payout timing or banking details.
